Everything old is in style again, vintage is hip and quilts are among the newest trend in bedding.
More than just a patchwork of fabric swatches, these aren’t your grandma’s quilts. A few of our favorites aren’t even patchwork at all – especially the Natural Shells Quilt Collection and the Easton Blue Reversible Quilts. (We especially like these styles because they’re stylish enough for her and not too girly for him.)
A modern twist on the old patchwork style, this Sienna Quilt is also one of our favorites.
If you live in a warmer climate or if you’re looking for something that’s not too warm for the spring/summer months, try using a quilt instead of a comforter. (Plus, quilts tend to be machine washable and are easier to care for!)
I’m glad to see that you have realized what some of us have known for a long time. I’ve been making quilts for nearly 25 years and have always thought they were in style. As the number 1 hobby in the United States that accounts in apx $4 billion a year in annual spending. Something else you should know is that quilts on the wall are a booming business. With the larger homes these days quilts on the wall can add a very visual and calming effect to a room. I’m glad to see you have come to the quilters side of life.
